AMANDA related work took me to
the south pole in 1997, 2000, 2001. 
Antarctic travel is always an adventure, but before one can go,
a great deal of preparation must be done. Trips 
entail long work days and a little free time at the pole...
 
IceCube, the follow-on to AMANDA, gnenerated
engineering work and 2 more business trips to the South Pole
